Living Vicariously Through Others!

As a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! you enjoy a minimum 20% off discount off of their wonderful products plus all of the "insider access" to tips, tricks, product sneak peaks, etc. Additionally, you have the opportunity to participate in regional seminars and the annual convention held each year in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I wasn't able to make it to this year's convention and I am green with envy of the 19 ladies from here in the London, Ontario (and surrounding area) who are in Utah, right now having the time of their lives!

Luckily, they've been roving reporters to help those of us at home feel like we're a part of the action! Here's some of the pictures of what they've been up to for the last couple of days.

One of the first things you typically receive at Convention is a special bag. As always, they're gorgeous! Plus, nothing at Convention comes empty...it was filled with a special binder for convention with a hole-punched catalogue (I know that seems trivial but it will be so handy for those lucky convention-goers!) and many other supplies to make the most of their time at Convention.

In the Memento Mall, demonstrators can purchase business supplies and specialty logo merchandise like this lunch tote.

Here are a couple of shots of the awe-inspiring ideas & projects you'll see at Convention...

Hmmm...what does lunch look like for thousands of Stampin' Up! demonstrators?

General sessions are huge concert-venue style presentations from key employees at Stampin' Up! including none other than Founder & CEO, Shelli Gardner! Have you ever seen a more gorgeous stage set up? It reminds me of Disney World.

"Here's our own Pam Morgan unveiling new products from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog! Wow! This catalog is FULL of products you'll want to have: the Holly Berry Bouquet Suite, Vanilla Velvet Ribbon, Stitched Stocking Stamp Set with coordinating punch, Silver Glimmer Paper, Mini Jingle Bells, Holly Berry Designer Fabric, and Micah Flakes -- (as Pam said, "it's just like snow, without the cold!") She also just introduced two new styles of personalized name stamps, the 25 & Counting Stamp Set and coordinating die -- plus a 1" Square Punch!! Hurray!! And a late-breaking item: Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps!" ~ Cindy
"P.S. Shelli just came on stage and said there is one item left: woo hoo, it's the Simply Scored Scoring Tool! She brought down the house with that announcement!"

These paragraphs were a direct quote from the roving reporters' reports on Facebook and here's the corresponding picture.

Speaking of those sneak peaks from the Holiday Mini (starts September 1st!), here is a sneak peak of one of the projects using products from the new Holiday Mini catalogue...

As if this isn't already enough excitement...check out the projects made with the new Berry Blossoms DSP from the NEW 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue. I'm pretty sure they've made those jar labels with MDS!!!! That means it wouldn't take much to recreate those for ourselves!

I get excited seeing the pictures. I can only IMAGINE the joy and fun the participants are having at Convention! Maybe next year, I can get in on the action!

Happy MDS'ing,

Lori
